We have been searching Google and the squirrelmail FAQ and archives, but are unable to get mail to show up in the inbox. We have seen other people ask similar questions, but have not gotten ours to work. We have not been able to see any errors in our logs.
Our System Info - Red Hat 9 and BlueQuartz with squirrelmail 1.4.3 and default sendmail and imap. At this point we do not have any plugins installed. We can send mail out just fine using the squirrelmail interface. When we send mail from an external source (such as hotmail) or from another user on the server itself, the mail goes to the mbox for that particular user, but it does not show up in the inbox of the user in squirrelmail. We can download or send mail from the server using Outlook Express. We have set the "default folder prefix" to "mail/" in the conf.pl for squirrelmail. We have kept the imap to the default of UW because we believe that is what is installed by default for Red Hat 9. The imap server and smtp server are both set to localhost. What are we missing? How do we get the mail to show up in the users inbox on squirrelmail?
