I still don't think you've bothered to do the research I've asked you to do at least twice now. If SM really had such a bug, I think it would be a very popular topic in the tracker and on the mailing lists. But if you're so sure that you're the expert and you can ignore our advice and that you've cornered this "bug" yourself, then why don't you prove it and show the HTML source of the page from which you click "Compose" (or read) that has the SSL link in it.
