I have a similar setup.  I am running on Windows 2003 with Mercury/32.
 You don't say how your SquirrelMail is connecting to Mercury.  Is it
via IMAP or POP3?  IMAP is probably much better.  Make sure you have
th MercuryI module running.

Do you have Pegasus Mail open at the same time as you are trying to
use SquirrlemMail?  If so, try closing Pegasus Mail before connecting
to SquirrelMail.
