Matti has since contacted me directly to explain that Riwos does use frames to maintain security but does not use ADDITIONAL frames for any purpose. Therefore Riwos is not a security risk in that way. Matti also suggested that I could have verified this for myself on the test account. But the details of how to get there were obscure and the documentation of the time made it clear to me that it was not worth even trying because of the security risk.
