Unless you have the latest development version of vpopmail, then you should
configure --without-authdaemon because libvpopmail has a serious bug which
prevents it working with authdaemon normally.

If you need sqwebmail's maildir++ quota support, then you should either
configure qmail to deliver using 'deliverquota' (see
maildir/README.maildirquota.txt in the source), or you should apply a qmail
patch for maildir++ support.

No. Sqwebmail talks directly to the maildirs. However you must run sqwebmail
on a box which has direct access to the maildirs (i.e. on the same server as
qmail/qmail-pop3d, or else NFS-mount the maildirs across to it)
