Dear admin and list members,
I just joined this list not long ago. But, I have some suggestions for the list.
Please forgive me if they too ignorant or stupid.
1. The reply address for the messages on the list. I noticed that the message
will be sent to the original sender but not the list if I simply reply the
message. This caused some threads broken on the list. I only see the question
and the appreciation from someone, but never see how the problem is solved. I
believe, most of the subscribers want to learn more about ssh from the problem
solving process. At least, this is how I started my linux adventure.
2. About the commercial promotion messages. I don't hate these messages. But, I
do feel a little bit uncomfortable about these messages are from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I usually expect the messages from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to be
very important regarding the whole list. So, it is somewhat disappointing to
realize that it is just a commercial promotion message. Is that possible to use
another account to send these messages?
Generally speaking, it is really a great job of setting up this mailing list. I
really appreciate what you guys have done for us. Maybe, I am a little bit too
picky, but I just want to be of any help to improve this mailing list to server
the ssh community.
Any comments and arguments are cordially welcomed.
