Hi Liguo,
As far as I know there are no official promotional messages from anybody
on the list. I think what you might be referring to is the problem the
list has with spam. SSH Secure, who hosts the list, will often let us
know when a new release is out, but I don't even call that promotional.
This company has been very gracious in allowing ALL variants of ssh to
use the list, weather they are open source or otherwise.
