Hello Royce, Have you tried just running with the by-pass slightlyn opened, to returna portion of the pumps output to the water tank? You can throttle the pumps out put down so that only a little bit is getting into the boiler, then gradually close the by pass until you balance the feed to what the boiler uses in running. By adjusting the bypass, you can make the load of the pump whatever you wish, and not have to mess with the burner or cylinder bores. The method of running where you are either send ALL of the water to the boiler, or none of it to the boiler is actually very hard on the boiler, as everytime you close the bypass and feed all of the pumps output to the boiler, you cool the water in the boiler massively. It's a LOT better to feed just a little all the time, tan to be constantly opening and closing the valve.
