Does anyone out there own and operate an Aster King George V. I acquired one recently and am struggling to get it to perform well enough to pull a rake of six GWR coaches reliably. She comes up to steam quickly but the regulator (which feels "spongy") needs to opened fairly wide to get any pulling power with the result that steam use is high. I've checked for leaks and there seem to be none. I've also checked the timing which also looks fine.
