Well, we do have XEP-0172 for nicknames.
If I wanted to look for nicknames in disco#info, I'd rather look in
'account' category. For example:
<identity category='account' type='registered' name='machekku' />
This could be added automatically to disco#info of bare jids - server
would just put nickname from vcard there. But at the same time, clients
cannot include this identity in their replies, because a client cannot
tell me if it's running on a registered or anonymous or admin account
(or rather: it can tell me, but I wouldn't trust it ;))
