Exactly. Responsible implementations of clients won’t home-brew this. If we want OMEMO adoption, there should be (reputable) libraries available for the cryptographic primitves. It would be even better to have ready-to-use implementations of the whole OMEMO stack available. It would also have an effect on the reputation of XMPP in general if we see multiple clients failing hard at attempting to implement OMEMO or the required cryptographic primitives. kind regards, Jonas
