I agree that HTTP upload has the benefict of being easy to implement, and I absolutely see it as an option, I just want to avoid building too much on it and to close the door to Jingle which is far superior. Also HTTP upload means that server must handle a totally different protocol/ server with all the security considerations that this imply. I'm also thinking about serverless.
