So this explains why I can't use a master and slave drive on
the IDE bus. I installed a 17GB IDE drive last year and did a
lot of shuttling between an old SCSI drive and ZIP disks to
get things transferred.

My question? What are the advantages/disadvantages of
going with an IDE or SCSI CDRW drive in my Starmax
4000/160? I have 64MB RAM and no L2 upgrade. Cost is a
consideration, but not at the expense of lousy performance.
