Can anyone offer an explanation why I just spent 1.5 hours waiting
for a download of Netscape Communicator 4.79, only to get an error
message about a "socket connection not found" or something like that,
and then no files on my desktop? The Netscape site ain't much help when
you need help; it seems to just send me around in circles.
I have a Starmax 3000/160 DT, 112 MB RAM, running on OS 8.5. I'm
now using Communicator 4.72 and have problems occasionally with the
browser window going blank, and sometimes things just freeze up, so I
wanted to update my browser. And what do you think about using Internet
Explorer 5.x instead? Can I?
