Weird... I've had this StarMax about two years, and to think that I could have scanned whenever I wanted and not have had to put it off until I was prepared to shut down all my apps (I like running them all at once) and reboot.
It also means that I can unplug the Zip drive and not leave it on all the time, as I barely use it. I'm still a bit wary that SCSI really is suited to this, and I might see if Google is inclined to pointing me towards some reading matter on the subject, but yes, thanks to you both for your input - and yay for SCSI. - Daniel. -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
