Hi
I've been recording my LP's on my Starmax for a while now, I've never heard
of Sound Fix, I use Sound Sampler to record the LP (with an amplifier and then
into the sound in socket) and have never had it cut out.
I use a SCSI drive for all the Sys software and a 40Gb drive for the Sound
Sampler
files, which are then converted to MP3's.
The songs are then played back through the amplifier when I want to listen
to them.
As the 40Gig drive can hold about 500 CD's worth of music I have no need to
copy them
onto CD's. (the idea was to save space and it sure beats changing sides on
all those LP's
