Have you used Norton or Disk warrior to check your disk ? Maybe your disk needs defraging. Is virtual memory on or off? Which browser are you using? I don't like that sound of making coffee, especially if there's no odor. Wait and see what the smart people have to say or, if push comes to shove, check with the yahoo starmax group.
