the StarMax 3, 4, & 5000 won't start up without a functional PRAM battery. I thought that was weird, but 'tis true. Memory: 160mb is the max. i posted a 32mb chip on the swap list a few days ago. you can run one 32 & 2 64 mb chips. it's the tanzania mobo limit. I know this a discussion list, so i'll put another posting of some stuff on the LEM swap list. later, g -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
