I have two computers in the house. This one is a Starmax 3000/160--seven years old. Last year I bought a Mac G4 but still use the Starmax (actually, my wife uses it more since most of her school programs are compatible with it). Anyway, I have recently upgraded to Panther on the G4 and will be using that OS exclusively on that machine. The question is: can I now put the OS9 system that came with the G4 on this Starmax, and will it work? Thanks. Jim Kirk
It should, but the real question is will your wife's programs still work, and that is a BIG maybe,
Change the OS on a working computer at your peril
