Not spinning - I mean, spin up. Just that if you can't, it might have died. If the drive won't spin up, it might also prevent the machine from leaving sleep mode, as it generally spins the drive down when it enters sleep, to save power. > It does not see any drive at all. Twice when something's screwed my drive up, Disk First Aid on the Mac OS CD could still see the drive, regardless of whether it could repair the problems on it. Another thing to try is Drive Setup, to see if it still registers the presence of a drive.
