Right. If the drive is not spinning up, that is bad news. After you check the connectors etc, and still have no luck, you might try to restart the StarMax and tap LIGHTLY with a screw driver handle on the drive. Sometimes the drive just sticks and a little sharp motion will unstick it. If this happens more than once, then head for the nearest shop and get a new one before the old one goes. Even if if does come back up, a back up of the important files on the drive is advised just in case.
