What are you talking about? The OFFICIAL e-mail archive
<http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> has full anti-spam
protection (all senders' e-mail addresses are removed). This is fine.

However, MacLaunch runs the CommuniGate Pro mail server, which as a built-in
service maintains its own lists located on port 80 of the server machine, in
this case <http://mail.maclaunch.com/>. These have no anti-spam protection
whatsoever.

"Don't post" is a nonsense answer, it won't remove the addresses that are there
now. ANY respectable e-mail archive for "average" people (techie places like
Mozilla Bugzilla presumably expect people to be aware of spam to the extent
that they use disposable addresses, but even that is a nuisance preferably
avoided!) should take steps to protect the addresses of posters in this
spam-ridden age.

No, the alternative is to kill the screwed-up system that CommuniGate Pro runs.
