I think Matthew's idea makes sense; we can start a branch, so that those
wanting to putz around can. It will be easier if the project does this, so
that everyone that want's to can participate (at the project level instead
of a personal branch is what I mean).
Barry, you are correct, as is everyone one that points this out; this is
only alpha: but, there are major changes that directly impact us, and if we
can keep on top of it as it progresses, by the time it's GA, we can be
ready to move, if it proves worth while.
I'll see about downloading and build the alpha, and if I can even get
Stellarium to compile with it.
