[stone] Bandsaws

Hi

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with cutting
stone on a bandsaw.  I am interested in cutting slate,
limestone and marble between 3/8" and 1 1/2" thick.
What kind and tooth count of blade and necessity of
water and speeds did you find successful?
