Check with one of the companies that sells them, like Eastern Marble or
Vic. Usually they are just used for single slabs of 3/4" (2 cm) marble,
cutting inch and a half might blow the blade. There is also a nice diamond
ring saw for about $300 for cutting 1/4" tiles. The blade is a wire ring
about 6" diameter.
