I posted a response a while ago but it didnt seem to publish, so ill
try again! but ill refine it a bit

firstly thanks to everyone for your replies. . .

Kent: i am sure its not an issue with my system, but i think i can
confirm that i seem to be in the right place to resolve the issue.

Denis: What a great website, i have already bookmarked it, and can see
me using it again many times.

Anyway i think oliver as nailed it with the way chrome uses google's
blacklist on every request and not just the top-
level page. the i frame in question is one i added myself to show
stats for the site to the users and more importantly for advertisers
on the site.

anyway i have taken down the i frame so ill see if that does the
trick.

still wondering what the story is with the ip report tho
