This is what bothers me so much about this whole affair. Many
people -- not sure of the percentage, but, a significant number --
opposed to NATO in whatever degree, buy into the notion, initiated
by the Western press, that Kostunica is on "our" side -- the side of
decent folks opposed to western hegemony and NWO
machinations for the Balkans.
A Serbian friend of mine has fallen victim of this himself. For
example, after stating, the other day, my feeling that Kostinuca is
a western quisling on par with Djinkic, and in some respects even
worse than him, he reacted as if I had dropped a bombshell. Rick
Rozoff calls to the "good cop/bad cop" scenario.
I'm not sure what it will take before Serbs, not to mention, those
opposed to Western imperialism, understand the obvious:
Kostinuca is a quisling. But, I hope more folks -- especially Serbs,
realize this ASAP before he damages Serbia even further.
