Has anyone had any luck getting the Solaris target working with the Linux open-iscsi initiator? I'm using build 45, and I've tried numerous open-iscsi versions, most recently 2.0-730. I can write about a few hundred kB, sync, unmount, remount, and verify that the data was written properly. If I write much more, I get I/O errors. The Solaris initiator seems to work flawlessly with the same target.
Hi Jake, I haven't tried the open-iscsi initiator, but have had pretty good luck with the iSCSI daemon and utility package (iscsi-initiator-utils) that comes with CentOS 4.4: http://linux-iscsi.sourceforge.net/ Are you set on using open-iscsi? Could you try the iSCSI daemon and utility package to see if it works in your environment?
