If you look at the post to which this is a reply, you will see that some of my answer was not displayed correctly.
Apparently when there was a less than sign followed by a greater than sign, the posting tool interpreted it as an html/xml directive. However, what was there (it may be correct in the quoted stuff below, I won't know until I post THIS message). as a dollar sign followed by a less than sign followed by "threadlist".
