I mean, i think i need just a subset of features (II right?), and the code was
compiled ok, so...
I know i can try and see, but i just want some advice if you know for sure
that *it will not work*. I just want to know if i can have hope in my tests...
What i did understand from your mail, is that AVS for opensolaris has some fix
that you already know on AVS 4.0 for solaris.. but are products apart, and the
support is for AVS 4.0 for solaris 10.
If the answer is "yes", i'm thinking in change the version in the source code
to workaround the "checkinstall" script. That should fix the installation
"problems", right?
I did see in this forum a user trying to install AVS on sol 10 u2, but there
is no message about success or failure.
