What verison of Solaris are running? I didn't see that in the message.  
The target has no problems with using the loopback interface. In fact,  
I used to use the loopback a lot when testing the target. There have  
been some problems on the initiator side when using the loopback which  
is why I asked about the version of Solaris

Another option is to try using a static address instead of send- 
targets. If you need more information on this option send mail to me.
