Well, I'm on one subnet (192.168.7.x).  This subnet is heterogeneous with 
opensolaris, windows, mac boxes.  All except the new snv_b77 box are browsable 
in such tools as nautilus, explorer, and finder.  So I don't think I have a 
network problem.  Something local on the b77 box is the issue.

I can manually access the share (\\kara\karapool_home_nola) in explorer, 
finder.  But I don't see it by browsing.  

I have checked that no firewall is running (ipfilter).  I'm not using a wins 
server because I'm in a single subnet.  The snv_b77 box has two nics in it, one 
used the other inactive, could this be causing some issue?
