Nigel Hi, I have sent the core files to Jim and he has tracked the problem. I was using the iscsi initiator iscsi-sfnet in Centos 4 distribution. Seems I didnt set a target name in the iscsi configurations and that makes illegal ( Non RFC standart ) connections to the iscsi target and makes the iscsi target processes core dump. I am now setting the iscsi target name on my initiator configurations and solaris iscsi target will be fixed in the newest release so the problem will be solved :)
