HI, That worked. I thought it was something simple. But now the next question and this is where I may have assumed to much or hoped for to much. My developers work in a mixed environment and I have a NAS box running samba that shares their home directory as CIFS and NFS. When the developers are on a Windows system it mount this NAS home drive as CIFS, however due to restrictions on our configuration management tool, I must mount their home drives using NFS on the server. I assumed that with idmap and using bi-directional mapping, files created on either system would be accessible on either system. Is this not the case?
