It's probably time for a status update from the iSER project: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/iser/
1. Design docs for IDM have been updated to document an iSCSI transport API that will be utilized by the iSER transport. This document is posted on the project page: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/iser/idm_design.pdf 2. A document containing the proposed usage for the iSCSI port provider CLI (itadm) is also available on the project page with a man page coming in the near future: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/iser/itadm_1m.txt 3. Source tarball and webrev for the iSCSI COMSTAR port provider are up-to-date as of 4/4/08 4. We should have a binary package available for iSCSI COMSTAR very soon. This will include an early version of the itadm CLI to manage iscsi targets and will support static discovery only. Error recovery is still a work in progress so pulling the cable with 100 active tasks will probably produce unhappy results.
