We ended up putting a couple extra SATA disks in to hold the OS, and decided to
forgo the L2ARC for now, so the SSDs are only for the ZIL, and mirrored for
fault tolerance:

zpool create data raidz c0t4d0 c0t5d0 c0t6d0 c0t7d0 log mirror c2d1 c3d1

# zpool status data
  pool: data
 state: ONLINE
 scrub: none requested
config:

        NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
        data ONLINE 0 0 0
          raidz1 ONLINE 0 0 0
            c0t4d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
            c0t5d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
            c0t6d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
            c0t7d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
        logs ONLINE 0 0 0
          mirror ONLINE 0 0 0
            c2d1 ONLINE 0 0 0
            c3d1 ONLINE 0 0 0

We'll be beating on this for a few days and then we'll have a better idea how it
works.
