Thanks for your answer. I'm running iscsi on a zfs volume created from zfs and then tuned from the default iscsi target.(:/system/iscsitgt:default) (not the COMCAST one).
The zfs volume is a mirror of SATA drives. Network interfaces are intel pro 1000 PT 1Gb on both sides crossed cat 6 cable is 1m long between two computers windows boots to the iscsi and the disk configuration in vista is default one. ping is perfect but traceroute seems strange : r...@opensolaris:~# ping -s 192.168.53.2 PING 192.168.53.2: 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 192.168.53.2: icmp_seq=0. time=0.478 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.53.2: icmp_seq=1. time=0.228 ms ^C r...@opensolaris:~# traceroute 192.168.53.2 traceroute: Warning: Multiple interfaces found; using 192.168.53.1 @ e1000g0 traceroute to 192.168.53.2 (192.168.53.2), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets 1 * * * 2 * * * 3 * * * 4 * * * 5 * *^C where e1000g0 is the good interface. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
