I beleave the QLA23xx FC cards are 2G FC cards. To my knowladge only 4G and faster Qlogic FC cards are supported on the target side. I have been running QLE2462s on the target side connected to QLA2342s on the initator side, and they seem to be working well (although I have only tested windows and linux on the initator side).
