No problem Jim, It's been a while since 2.4 came out and since I worked
those products. But I believe there was no change in the JBOD command
support. But I don't have a system that I can test it on to verify.
the only benefit would be if you wanted to update your safete or pld
firmware to the device. Generally there is a lock step to the versions
of firmware and the cli. I'm sorry, I do not remember if there were
JBOD environmental updates with those releases. I'd have to search
the database to find out.
2.5 should be released to test soon, and available shortly after if you
wish to wait for that.

For the sake of completeness, the array I currently have access to is accessed by
sccli 2.3.0. Since it's used very rarely (like once in a few months or less) is there
some benefit to upgrading to 2.4 - 2.5? (i.e. maybe setting up array/drive health
monitors?)
