I'm noticing simliar performance when testing between a Windows 2003 host and an snv_118 system using iperf. When the Windows host is the server, I get 1GB throughput. When the snv_118 box is the server, I get half of that. I also disabled naggle's algo.

I'm going to ask the networking discussion list if they have any thoughts. The snv_118 box is a 2x Quad Core X5410 with 8GB of ram. Intel gbe nics are used.
