In my last post, I maybe implied that the capture file showed the TCP window scaling was disabled, on the OpenSolaris client.
To be clear, TCP windows scaling is enabled on the OpenSolaris client, it is just that it is advertising a scale factor of zero. As a scale factor of zero means multiple the window size by 1, it does not actually change the size! But it does allow the other side, in this case the Linux server, to use window scaling. If anyone else wants to look at the captures, here are the links: http://www.nwsmith.net/solaris/osol.iperf.cap http://www.nwsmith.net/solaris/linux.iperf.cap Thanks Nigel Smith -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list storage-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
