It is not possible to tell sbdadm/stmfadm to share an entire pool. You have to share each individual ZVOL separately.

More specifically, you have to tell sbdadm/stmfadm (e.g. using stmfadm create-lu) about each Logical Unit that you want to share. The backing store for each Logical Unit can be a disk, a slice of a disk, a ZVOL, or a regular file.

The Views you create with stmfadm add-view then indicate which initiators should be able to see which of the shared Logical Units.
