I am having trouble with ESX 4.0 and my 2009.06-based target. I currently have a single target exposed on multiple interfaces (separate subnets). The ESX host repeatedly generates errors "Lost connectivity to storage device naa...."
This error is followed by an "Alarm cannot connect to storage has changed from gray to gray". VMs run fine all the while, but I need to determine what is causing this problem. Currently, I have disabled all but one interface (or path) on ESX and have added the target manually (static target), not using send-targets. Ideally, I will have all 4 interfaces (on ESX and OpenSolaris box) up and running, active-active, but active-passive is certainly acceptable if I can rid myself of these errors.
