Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the issue here. Checked and and double checked connectivity on all paths (5, at one point). Have also tested with fixed (default) policy using the VMW_SATP_DEFAULT_AA satp. Also tried marking all but one path (the "fixed" path) as disabled.
Pulled the whole thing back down to a single IP (via tpg's on solaris side and single vmkernel interface on ESX) and still having the problem. Have just finished up reinstalling the ESX host, will try again tomorrow and post results.
