We use 2008.11 on a Dell T610, which i'm guessing is mostly identical
hardware. We can't get display output unless we force the VESA driver
to be used. The video hardware is apparently detected properly by the
installer, but won't run after the reboot, and I didn't have time to
debug the driver setup or xorg config. Maybe that is your issue?
(BTW, still happened with 2009.06 as well)
