Sorry for stealing this thread... Had a question in relation to the
OP... If you want to image the server onto another server where the
source server is using a rpool mirror and you want the destination
server to also use an rpool mirror, could you still use dd?

I guess disk number 1 is the new one witch is "empty" and will be
the target, but witch of these two next devices should I use:
source: /dev/rdsk/c8t0d0p0 target: /dev/rdsk/c8t1d0p0
- OR -
source: /dev/rdsk/c8t0d0s0 target: /dev/rdsk/c8t1d0s0
"p" or "s", by partition or by slice???
