Thanks for your reply. I have tried that previously, there is a snapshot on the rpool but none on my "VMs" pool.
#zfs list -t snapshot NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT rpool/ROOT/opensola...@install 143M - 2.82G - Also when I deleted files from the ssh session the space available did increase which if I had a snapshot I wouldn't expect this to happen.
