I have received both terrible support and excellent support from Sun. The difference was primarily due to the person assigned to my case. Sometimes the person seemed to be working out of their home, and these folks seemed to be more capable than people sitting in a cubicle at Sun.
If you feel that you are getting terrible support, then try to get your case transitioned to someone else.
