Just a note.. I've been having these mpt problems with a LSI SAS1068E
PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS. Problems happen under both 1.26 and 1.29
firmware and under 2009.06 and build 134 OpenSolaris.
I would welcome any suggestion for a PCI-E SAS that will support JBOD
raidz and OpenSolaris.
From what I've observed, the consistent feature of this
problem (where no SAS expanders are involved) is the
use of WD disk drives.
Where SAS expanders are involved, the LSI-branded or Sun-
branded ones are fine, but others are not.
What sort of disks are you using?
