There are a bunch of fixes (performance, mostly) that went

Great! Is there anything specific to 6894775, though? It seems
like performance improvements might make things worse because
they could increase the load on the disks and the controller, and I
suspect that the true culprit from what I've read here is likely
the controller. Would the reboot changes make it likely that a
reboot after 6894775 would actually work rather than just hang?

You are doing yourself a disservice by not running a newer build.

Indeed. But we SPARC orphans have had a variety of problems
that have taken until b134 to resolve (not that I'm complaining;
the support on these lists has been nothing short of incredible),
so moving forward from b125 hasn't been an option until recently.

We'll do some stress testing on a b134 test system and report back
here if anything interesting results. From your perspective, what
settings of zfs:zfs_vdev_max_pending and zfs_scrub_limit would
be best to provide meaningful results?

Frankly, I'd much prefer that you log a support call against
this CR and get it escalated.

I don't have suggestions about the zfs tuning you mention, sorry.
